Louise will make a well-deserved return to the West End following the recent smash-hit national tour of All The Fun Of The Fair as she reprises her highly acclaimed leading lady role starring as the beautiful and mysterious gypsy fortuneteller, Rosa.

Set against the backdrop of a travelling funfair and packed with dazzling stunt sequences, hilarious crafty cons and plenty of rock ‘n’ roll, All The Fun Of The Fair is an original action-packed musical from legendary singer and songwriter David Essex and the creator of Boogie Nights, Jon Conway.

Widower and funfair owner Levi Lee (David Essex) is struggling to fend off the unwelcome attentions of an alluring and attractive divorcee whilst trying to keep up with the ins and outs of his son’s tangled love life and lofty ambitions. And what is he to make of the dangerous predictions of the fair’s mysterious gypsy fortuneteller, Rosa (played by Louise), warning him about what the future has in store?

Louise says of her role, "I'm very excited about it. It's a musical play that's been written by Jon Conway and it's got David Essex's music in it. I've got the lovely chance to sing that beautiful song, A Winter's Tale, which was one of his big hits."

"I play a gypsy called Rosa, who's desperately in love with Levi Lee (David Essex), and who has a daughter. She's a tough woman, she knows what she wants and she doesn't get messed around by people and she's nobody's fool. It's a fabulous role...this woman is sexy, she's voluptuous and she knows what she wants and goes and gets it. And I get to sing with David Essex which is one of my dreams, so I'm over the moon!" [Louise's quotes are from her interview with Steve Burbridge. Click here for the complete interview.]

Inspired by David’s debut album, this roller-coaster ride is underscored by much-loved hits such as Winter’s Tale, You're In My Heart, Here We Are All Together, Gonna Make You A Star, Me and My Girl Nightclubbing, Silver Dream Machine, Rock On and many more.

But, as David Essex explains, "It's more a play with music; it's not a jukebox show." For example, his early hit Rock On is introduced as he and Louise reminisce about the "old days". The sets are impressive as well, including cast-driven dodgem cars, carousel horses and motor bikes.

Joining Louise and David onstage are: Michael Pickering as Jack; Susan Hallam-Wright as Mary; Nicola Brazil as Alice; Christopher Timothy as Harvey; Cameron Jack as Druid; Chris Holland as Kipper; Kieran Jae as Scotty; Tom Kanavan as Spiv; Tim Newman as Slow Jonny; Robert Rees as Chris; Emily Tierney as Sally; Tricia Adele-Turner as Laura; Shona White as Rita; and Danielle York as Maisy.

All The Fun Of The Fair is produced by Alan Darlow Productions, Jon Conway and Lee Dean, with a book by Jon Conway. The show is directed by David Gilmore with music and orchestrations by Ian Wherry; set and costume design by Ian Westbrook; lighting by Ben Cracknell; and sound and effects by Steve Jonas.

And now you can order this wonderful cast album CD featuring Louise's beautiful, touching, solo interpretation of A Winter's Tale and her duet with David Essex, You're In My Heart, along with all of the songs from this smash-hit musical by the original cast.
